Collection

The LAHMS collection includes close to 6000 artifacts or objects relating to the social and cultural norms of the Lennoxville-Ascot region. The artifacts date from the mid 19th century to the late 1950's and include such items as pottery, china, glassware, silverware, furniture, costumes and textiles. The collection also includes paintings, drawings, and prints, by Canadian and European artists.

While all of the artifacts have been registered on the Canadian Heritage Information Network (CHIN) of Canadian Heritage, over 1000 artifacts have been photographed and posted on CHIN's Virtual Museum of Canada website. These can be viewed at www.virtualmuseum.ca by typing Lennoxville Ascot Historical and Museum Society in the search engine of the image gallery.
